Are there any subscription fees or other costs?
No, there are no ongoing monthly fees for data, software, or maintenance with farmIT. We believe in transparency, so there are no hidden costs. Moreover, you can enjoy the full benefits of our system without worrying about unexpected expenses.
How many cloudLink devices do I need?
You only need one cloudLink per farm, which we provide for free. Furthermore, this device can connect up to 100 sensors, sending their data to the cloud using your existing internet connection.
FAQs Performance and Reliability
What is the range of the farmIT system?
The farmIT system has unlimited range and is fully scalable. Therefore, with farmIT, you can reach even the most remote areas of your property. Additionally, it can transmit data from inside buildings or under tree cover.
Do my farmIT sensors have to be within line of sight?
No, your sensors do not need to be in line of sight with the cloudLink to send data. farmIT technology works efficiently without direct line of sight. Thus, you can place sensors wherever they are needed most.
What is the battery life of the sensor units?
Our testing shows that the expected battery life is up to six years. However, battery life can vary depending on environmental conditions.
What happens if there is a power failure?
If a power failure occurs, data will not be transmitted via WiFi. Nonetheless, when power is restored, farmIT automatically reconnects to the network and resumes sending data.
Can I access the data records?
Yes, you can request your data in Excel format at no extra cost. Simply let us know, and we’ll send it to you.

My sensor is showing “missed readings.” What should I do?
When you first install your sensors, you may see some missed readings until the sensor fully connects to the farmIT network. This process can take up to 24 hours. However, if the issue persists, please Contact Us for help.
