Are there subscription fees or other costs ?
No, there are no ongoing monthly data, software or maintenance fees. There are no hidden costs with farmIT.

How many cloudLink devices do I need?
You only need one cloudLink per farm which we provide for free. You can have up to 100 sensors linked to the cloudLink. All sensors send their data to the cloudLink which forwards it to the cloud using your existing internet connection.

What is the range of the farmIT system?
The farmIT system has unlimited range, the sensor network is fully scaleable. Using the farmIT system you can reach even the most remote regions on your property. In fact, farmIT, can even transmit data from inside buildings or under tree cover.

Do my farmIT sensors have to be within line of sight
No, the farmIT technology means that your sensors do not need to be in line of sight with the cloudLink to send data.

What is the battery life of the sensor units?
Our testing shows that the expected battery life is up to six years. However, it is difficult to be precise as environmental conditions can play a significant role.

What happens if there is a power failure?
In the event of a power failure no data will be transmitted to the WiFi connection. However, when the power comes back on farmIT will automatically connect to the network and commence sending data.

Can I access the data records?
Yes, if you would like to receive the data in excel format we can provide that to you at no charge.

My sensor is showing”missed readings”
When you first install your sensors you may get a number of missed readings until the sensor connects into the farmit network. This can take up to 24hrs so please be patient. If the problem persists then contact us.

How secure is the network?
We use 128bit data encryption technology which is considered unbreakable.

Is there a warranty?
Yes, all farmIT sensors come with a 3 year warranty.
